Texas Drivers Violations

Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Capt. Brad Hoch said the SUV was traveling south on 263rd and the grain truck was going east on 71st South.

“Those two vehicles had a violent collision in the middle of the intersection,” Hoch said. “As a result of that, we have four fatalities in the SUV.”

One adult and three child passengers died in the crash. Hoch didn’t provide ages for the children, but said they ranged in age from “small child” to grade-school age. He said the collision caused grain to spill “all over the roadway.”

While it’s not yet clear on what led up to the crash, Hoch said investigators are looking at the stop signs on the east and west sides of the intersection on 71st South.
